Essentia is a Debt Advisor specialized on the Italian private equity market.

The advisory activity is developed in 2 fields: new transactions and restructuring.

New transactions: Essentia has a consolidated experience in the organization of LBO financing through banking short term debt or other debt instruments on a club deal basis, in order to optimize the structure and the conditions of the financing package at the best level of adherence with the specific project. For our Clients’ portfolio companies, whereas these have been bought without leverage, we also organize pools for medium term financing in order to consolidate the existing banking short term debt, capex⁄acquisition line, recap, etc.

Debt restructuring: the banking culture and experience of Essentia’s professionals make the company a credible counter-part, a trustworthy and decisive actor in the relationships with the banking system, able to understand the interests of all parties around the table and to identify viable solutions pursuable also within moving scenarios. We positively brought to completion complex debt restructurings, within the legal framework of art. 67 and art. 182 bis of Italian Bankruptcy Law, but we are often involved also in rescheduling and covenant reset in view of the value added we are able to generate vis−à−vis our fees, which remain competitive thanks to a lean costs structure, to our great attention to the Client and to the respect we have towards complex situations.
